Money can't buy talent, It however, can nurse it along.
Without Talent, you must either be spending Money A. For fun or B. Throwing it down the drain. If your option is B. Please send it my way so I can have some FUN WITH IT!

I saw Stewart start his career in TQ's, didn't see him run carts.Saw Larson in midgets, didn't see him run carts either . Both have run 120 races a year, Tony has money to do it, earned through his talent. At one time though he ran 120 times a year for peanuts , on his talent. Larson ran 120 times a year on his talent, for peanuts. Now his talent will bring him money, just like Tony's brought him his money.

So sick of the money argument...
Racing takes money!!! At some point, EVERYBODY that's good get's picked up or helped along by someone with money ie, sponsors ect... Racing always took money, but now its so expensive that lots of owners are forced to look for someone to bring some dough or the car don't race. I don't really like it either, but that's the way it is!!!

The money had to be spent to get the good guys good no matter what. It takes seat time to get good. Seat time is very expensive!
I believe you could take Stewart or Larson and put them in a lesser car and they would drive it to the front. Why? Because they're great drivers with raw talent that's been nurtured. I hope Stewart's health continues to improve. He was still limping pretty bad last weekend. Looked like it still hurt. Happy New Year everyone! 2014 is going to be awesome! |

I have watched Kyle Larson race many times in the last few years and never seen him win anything not one race! He hasn't won a feature at any race I have witnessed. I keep hearing that he wins but i never seen it! Now I can't afford to go every week to the races. But I have seen some big races during ISW and Been to Smackdown 2 yrs in a row and he didn't win. I have seen Tony win more than his share of times around my and his home town and IMS. I have seen Foyt and Vogler and Stewart all win in some way or another and in my opinion the jury is still out on Larson. Is he good yes but up there with the greats no way not even close!!
