Schaffer wins over Hannigan, Schroeder, Wimmer and Daggett after Daggett leads much of feature. Little Haud from 18 to 5th before dropping back to 7th. Westfall takes 2nd in Mods. Great crowd with festive atmosphere, excellent track conditions for features.

The ambulance took the guy that flipped out off the back stretch to the hospital..or at least thats what i was told..I was a little frustrated being a week night, yea tomorrow is 4th of july, but there was no pushing..I left a couple laps left of sprint feature because it was a 2 hour drive home and gotta work..Ton of cars though and all that money up for grabs..Great mod drivers as well..I enjoyed myself just wish things coulda been pushed a little faster Everyone have a great 4th of July!

That woulda been Jack Miller, He went over a RR. How about that Jarrod Delong. He and Dancer got together coming out of 4, Dancer went and maybe jerked him around a little bit & while Dancer went back to his car with his back turned ol Delong unbuckled ran toward Dancer & kicked him in the back !! Then they went to the ground & emergency personnel was trying to get them apart. That got people a hootin & a hollerin.

I like waynesfield but sometimes they trip over themselves. They did a really great job during sprint week but last night was slow. Mod heats were slow. The track work on turn 1 was long but needed. That hole was rough. Oh well. Both features were good.

It wasn't an issue with WRP during the mod heats. There were 17 cautions for 6 heat races and not related to track. It is also our insurance policy that requires us to keep and ambulance on site at all times while cars on track. Hence the reason the ambulance called for another to take driver to hospital. Once the ambulance was free we went right back racing. In the A Mains everything ran really smooth and was a great show. I applaud our staff for all their hard work last night.

My comment about the mods was just an illustration of one of things that happens. I totally agee it was not waynesfileds fault. It is just one of those things that happens on occasion. It leads to those long nights. It seems that waynesfield has some bad luck during the big shows. It is what it is and somethings can't be avoided. The bmains and feature for the mods were smooth as can be.

I am totally fine with waiting for an ambulance. Safety first.

I am frankly glad the program on had two classes. Keep up the hardwork
