This post is the second time tonight I've seen what I think is a truly funny post by Don. His post about Whining was even better. :respect:

I think it would be great if Jeff owned a sprint car team or 2 but I do notice one big difference between him and Smoke & Kasey. He was married and is now married again with a child and his focus is there. Being married also, the money is not just your's and you do not have the only say so about how it is spent. Smoke & Kasey are still both very single and like the night life and the people and the excitment. I think Jeff is looking at his more as a job and an income. I too am not bashing Jeff Gordan one bit, I really like him. Just another way of looking at it.

Why would he want the headache? Gotta hire someone to run the deal cause he wont have time....Hire a driver or drivers....Build or find a shop & then hire a crew & hope they get along well. Just cause the deal looks all shiney & neat on the outside don't mean it's that way on the inside.

I think it's great that Tony, Kasey, Jason and now BC have put teams together. It says a lot about those guys, that they would want to give back to the sport. It wouldn't say as much, however, if I thought they were doing it because others thought that they were obliged to do it.

Their way of giving back benefits all of us race fans, but in the overall scheme of things, IMO, it's no more or no less than others that give back, in other ways.
