Btw congrats to the MMSA for having 10 different winners,10 is a good number. It really tells you how even, competitive and close the racing has been so far !!!!!!

but most of the racers was from the waynesfield groupthat night and I was at Eldora. most of those drivers was waynesfield 11 i think and about 9 or 10 from the amsa group so that left about 8 or 9 from mmsa that track was to big for the mini sprints. but they all can say the raced at Edlora

OK....I know I am going to hate myself for asking this but what's your point?

Many of us are 'geographical' racers. By that I mean we choose to race at the track closest to where we live. I am not going to drive 3.5 hours to run a non-wing race with the AMSA at US 24 when the MMSA is running 1.5 hours from us at Brownstown. And, I'm not going to drive 1.5 hours to race at Brownstown with the MMSA if I can run with the AMSA at L-Burg, 15 minutes from home.

Now there are exceptions. I don't see myself going back to Twin Cities anytime soon with either the AMSA or MMSA for a number of reasons I won't get into here. I'll drive the extra distance and go to Waynesfield.

So, as you can see, for us it is not the AMSA vs MMSA.....it's simply convenience and track quality.

well said and I agree with you, but then when the amsa has a race close where the mmsa member are and they don't have a race, why don't they come and join in with the amsa member, and have a good car count. the amsa member will go and race with the mmsa group and some have to drive more then they want but, they want to race. but some is getting tired raceing with them when they don't return the favor. so far this year not 1 of the mmsa group has race with or at any of the amsa races. they don't charge but $15.00 if a member or not so it isn't the money thing. and the amsa group is just as friendly as the other. they are trying to keep the Mini Sprints alive. and where a person can afford to own a mini.I agree with the gas so high. close to home is best. I see that the amsa will be at the burg on Sept 1 want to make a bet not one of the amms guys will show up for that race. oh forgot he is at twin City. and I wouldn't race there either. after a couple more races around here we will be headed back to the U.P. of Michigan

Well stated Phil. Im in partial agreement with TC, they need improvements there regardless of which series is racing at the track. However I'm not gonna pass up the track that is 1hr away, with diesel at a estimated $4.10 a gallon this weekend.. I dont mind slinging dirt with daugherty or rod but thats a haul...Btw Phil is the boy still eating with the help of a straw? Those wisdom teeth are a bad deal!

Andy

@ Harry.... Take out your weekly plastic pill case and eat the contents under the letter that says "T"... Quit being a D$CK all the time...

Your brother started the post on Eldora, I just stirred it a little bit and kept it going.

He's doing better Andy but he was miserable for about 10 days....had two dry sockets which were very painful. Back to school tomorrow for his senior year.

I'd love to see someone take over TC that would improve the place. Cutting down the vines that are growing over the lights in turn three would be a good start!

We'll probably see you guys at the next Brownstown race.

so if there were 25 cars last time at waynesfield why not stick with the schedule and go back to a nice race track and have 25 or more cars this time because there wouldnt be anyone to run against instead they are going to a s**it hole track and maybe if there lucky they will have half the cars because now there running against waynesfield to run twin city sounds to me like waynesfield shouldnt schedule with bill may and the mmsa anymore kinda seems like some bulls**it that bill would go and do that because it dosent sound like they have a good reason to back out on waynesfield and go to twin city. just wanted to put my 2 cents in
