June 3rd update, Races postponed for this week...more
All racing this week has been postponed due to heavy rain this week. The Midwest All Stars will be rescheduled for June 14th, along with the Lawrenceburg Chevrolet Sprints. Thats right!! Sprints with and with out wings!! The best of both worlds will take to the new 3/8ths track on Saturday June 14th. Also the Budweiser UMP Modifieds will be in the house competing.

On Tuesday June 19th we will have a open practice on the new track from 5-10pm, gates open at 4pm. Pit passes $15, grandstand admission is free!!

if this was 10 years ago it would be real interesting to see the 1 or 2 guys try to do both classes. Nowdays nobody does that though

Practice is June 10th the original post was edited after the copy and paste here.

Actually some could successfully compete in both classes, Westfall (Injured) and Moffatt come to mind.

The problem is is time or a extra car. Gear changes, shocks ect all a little different.

I think that the Allstars might fair better with a second car without the wing. This could turn out to be an interesting event if we see some guys going both ways.

a week or so ago, the Ohio river went over 40 feet and the track was flooded.

per the below url - the Ohio River will be at 41 feet this saturday.

Is the river level going to effect the opening date?
