For complete results, go to http://www.gascityi69speedway.com. Next Friday, August 17, will be a regular program of sprints, modifieds, street stocks, and thunder cars. The track will be closed August 24.

Broke the right front shock off on the start when things got a little tight, ran in the top ten until the car got a mind of its own. Not bad considering all the stuff tore up tonight, glad no one was hurt. Good luck to everyone heading north in the morning, a lot of tired people tonight.

I left Angola in pouring rain before the races and went just one exit north of the track after the races before I ran into rain. I feel like I pulled one out of my hat. Great job Gas City.

Also, the playground area has never meant much to me but my grand daughter sure loves it.

I wouldn't have bet they would ever get the entire show in last night. The heavy dark clouds were hanging around all night and that stiff NW breeze made it seem like fall not August.

We got five miles south of the track on the interstate and it started raining. Jiggs and the crew pulled a rabbit out of their hat last night for sure.

Congrats to BC on the win after driving almost to Michigan and back. A nice run also for Chris Gurley in second and Stanbrough and Grant from the rear of the field were entertaining to watch.

Had a good field of cars track was good all night and the tractor show was pretty cool. Did any one notice the survey crew in the pits? was going to ask but forgot once we got going.
