I am in the minority, but I like the seats at Gas City. Yes they are not that comfortable but the view is great. You are right on top of the action. They are steep enough that you can see over the person in front of you. The track purchased a new grandstand a few years ago, but the town refused to grant them a permit to build it and they sold it. It's 3hours I'lll trade a little comfort for a close up view.

See, the difference with me is.. I'd give a gonad to be able to be there every Friday night just to get dirty watchin the races. Seats aren't level, too close, mud flyin' in yer beer.....Honestly,how can you beat that?

With the track for sale, we better continue to hope that the dirt is flying and the bleachers remain in place. Otherwise, we might be looking for other entertainment options on Friday nights come 2013.
