I think they might be able to run Bigger cars besides the Midgets if they take the asphalt up and make the 3/8's mile asphalt track a dirt track. I've seen the track as well and I think it would make one hell of a bull ring with progressive banking (18 on the bottom grove, 20 in the middle grove, and 22 on the high side). You don't see many dirt tracks with that type (progressive) of banking.

It'd make a fine dirt track though, progressive banking sounds real snazzy but there are so many more important things to take into consideration about the configuration of the track. Different cars shine on different configurations, what's good for a UMP LM probably isn't going to be great for a TQ and so on. |

Plymouth needs one good night with out some weird weather thing hitting them to find out if a dirt track would work there.. They have got a couple black eyes this year from the rain and late arrival(Tony Stewart night) and the Heat(on the night it was 20 degrees cooler then the night before at start time).

I know i voted for Midgets, seeing as thats what i own and I'm only about an hour away from Plymouth, but i dont think a non wing 305 class would be bad either. You could bring in the Ohio 305 club(s), have them take off the wing and put on some bigger shows a couple times a year.

Plymouth stands in interesting territory and has a unique opportunity to make everyone happy. Too many tracks stick to the same routine weekly classes and personally, I like to see places shake things up. There is no reason why you can't have LM, Mod, Sprinters, etc on rotating schedule.
I think the bigger question is, what night would they run? |

I think they could pull drivers from the old Crown Point Speedway that don't want to race at Shadyhill because of the b.s. they pull every week. Over the past few years Shadyhill has gotten progressively worse. Guys are fed up being treated like crap < I've seen it first hand.
I thought an "Old Timers Class" would be awesome so kids can see what a real race car used to look like before all these fancy setup became available. Voted for (No track should have more then 7 divisions on any given night if they can run an efficient race program). UMP Late Models Midgets UMP Modifieds UMP Street Stocks Old Timers 600cc Mini / Micro Sprints Mini Stocks Specials for 410 Non-Wing Sprints Big Block Modifieds UMP Sportsman / Super Stocks 360 Winged Sprints
