I've worked in much hotter weather than this. Key word is "worked." Will plan on bringing grandson on Thursday. He came through yesterday just fine, spent the afternoon in the Winchester Speedway infield.

Drink lots of.....water.

Hmm, Name the track that would cancel a sprint/Midget Week show if the heat index was 108?

NONE,

Sorry to say but the old concern for the fan/racer comes down to the bottom line, With they lose money or not.
P.S. If I didn't have deep pockets, I might do the same.

I just saw on the news, the weather team just issued a sissy watch for Thurs-Fri-Sat-Sun.

If they race I'll be there. It may kill me but at least I'll die at a track with a smile and dirt on my face.

I'll be right there with you on Thursday, praying for zero calls and no busy work from my chief! Fortunately I only have to work an 18 that day at my part time but you KNOW it will be a day something burns!

Looks like I may have to turn the front AND rear air conditioning on this week in the pushtruck/pacecar at LPS.
