dave, there have been posts on this site,super daves, and stock car extreme touting over 30 committed teams to this series. being a talking head for the series you should look up the posts.and i have several races on tape done by me with well over 20 cars for the sessions snoball derby, but then you were pretty young in the mid 80's.
