i know that ama is running the bikes on the mile that weekend too.....so its not like they couldnt just run the two races in conjunction with each other.....its not like the bikes will ruin the track...dont know how you would get folks out then back in to pay.....something someone smarter will have to figure out.........would make for a cool weekend!

It shouldn't have been too tough a decision, I walked down the track about a third the way from the top. At that point I chickened-out as the goose-poop was getting REAL slippery and I was sinking in better than an inch! That was at 3:00 p.m. and it was still raining.

Sucks to lose it two years straight. I hope this year it will be rescheduled. Too few races on the Miles!

Just a thought, wouldn't track prep be totally different for the bikes and the silver crown cars? Bikes like dry(ish) dirt from what I can understand, whereas the cars are better when the track is moist and doesn't take water
guess you havent been to many dirt silver crown races....tracks are typically very dry and slick and hard packed down...a tacky track for the crown cars are rare treat.....
