Certainly a step in the right direction. Track prep to me is more important than the other things but USAC had to do something. I know that not all people who were at the Silver Crown race last Sunday will be able to return, but hopefully between the ISW date and the later sprint car date they can see some good racing at THAT.

This should also should be a relief to a number of folks who were either not going back or contemplating returning to Terre Haute. The track prep last year when Sargent and O'Connor where doing it was great. Here is hoping of a great night of racing.

I wasn't planning on going back, but since I went to a race when the O'Conners did track prep, already seeing if I could get a vacation day on short notice. Hopefully I can.

That's good news on many fronts. Nice to see track prep will be in good hands. Also nice to see the issue was acknowledged and the fans get something as a bonus to make up for the deal. Have to give props when they are due just as criticism was given when it was due.

That's absolutely the best case scenario, the way this ended up. I couldn't have dreamed of a better resolution, for this matter. The best big track track prep guy (Sargent), teamed with one of the best track prep guys, period (Reese), coming in to save the day. Like they did before. Worrying about Terre Haute was the only negative coming into this Sprint Week, now that's off the table completely. Thanks USAC for doing whatever you had to do to resolve this problem. And also for recognizing how well the driver-fan interaction went the other day and doing something about that, too.

The article also says they are working with the Vigo County Fair Board trying to get a date to reschedule the Sumar Classic Silver Crown Race. If they do get a date you can use your ticket stub for that race.

So do we still have to buy a ticket to get into the sprint week race if we have our tickets from the Sumar? If so it is a nice gesture getting a free shirt but that shirt prob only cost them $5-$7 ea. My ticket for sunday cost me $50. Their press relase is kinda vague just want a clairfication. Thanks

"Returning fans using the postponed ticket receipts for entry at the July 13th Indiana Sprint Week date at Terre Haute..."

I think the "for entry" part is clear enough. That's how I took it, anyway.
