For those of you who think any type of racing other than nonwing sprints is horrible, then you are living under a rock. Don oneal cowboy'd that late model around there last year. Never lifted completely off the gas in qualifying. And as for them asking to cut the cushion down, you guys should go look at the rear suspension on a late model and tell me if you think it would hold up to 40 laps of a foot tall cushion. It won't lol..id encourage sprint car fans to spread their wings and check out a late model race

The Late Models do put on a great show as do all the classes respectively. I don't think anyone would like to slam their cars into a large cushion and feel good about it Either way it will be a good night of racing to go watch at LPS on Tuesday Night!!!!

Late Models are without a doubt legitimate race cars and yes, are capable of putting on great shows for their fans. But, unless one of my two friends that drive them is running, I'm just not particularly interested in that type of racing (that doesn't make them "horrible"). That being the case, I come to an "OPENWHEEL" site to discuss "OPENWHEEL" racing............BTW I have been to a few late model races over the years. In fact, I promoted late model races the 3 years that I had Lawrenceburg Speedway and there were some great races between Gary Herbert, Charlie Sentmann, Ross Smith, Dan Rink, Dan Polking, Vern Lefevre et. al.
