Does anyone know what happened to Bacon in the A main? I see he finished last but he's not listed in the flips. Thanks.

He ran it too hard into turn one and drove over the berm in turn two. He kind of bounced it a little and ended up sitting on the back side of the turn. Up until that point, he had passed more cars than anybody and had caught another cluster of cars and might have been a threat to take several more positions had he not jumped the turn. He was definitely the hard charger of the race, until that happened. Jerry

Chris Windom got underneath Jon Stanbrough on a late restart and pulled away to win the USAC sprint car feature at the Larry Rice Classic at the Bloomington Speedway Friday night.
Kyle Larson started on the pole, jumped out to a big lead and led a majority of the race as Stanbrough, Windom, Dave Darland and Levi Jones battled for position behind him. But the late race caution brought out by Brady Bacon’s disabled car opened the door for Windom and Stanbrough. Larson held on to get third, with Darland fourth and Jones fifth. Brady Short, Bacon, Bub Cummings and Jon Sciscoe were the heat winners, while Blake Fitzpatrick won the B main. In the night’s other feature, Ruan Broughton took command at the midpoint and pulled away after a violent crash brought out a late red flag to win the Midwest Mini Sprint Association mini sprints. Rod Henning was second, followed by Don Harvey, Mark Billings and Doug Jones. Howard McCormick, Billings and Henning were the heat winners. Ben Murphy won the B main. The usual lineup of sprint cars, super stocks, modifieds and hornets returns to the speedway next Friday.
