Awesome to see Montpelier Motor Speedway get a face-lift. I don't want to see another Indiana track get pushed to the side sort of like what happed at Bunker Hill Speedway. That was a decent track as well. To bad no one really took care of the facility. I was by there recently and it could use some work but it doesn't look dead yet. Hope Montpelier has a great season in 2011.

Our insurance company put the axe of carry in coolers in the pits and grandstands area a few years ago based on what they considered a major liability for them (the company). This has happended at several local tracks that uses the same company.

For spectators, it will be policed at the gate where you purchase tickets like most tracks; however, I'm personally not aware of any "water police" in the pits for racers. Obviously, anything being consumed in the pits that could present a safety danger to drivers or race teams would be handled immediatedly.

The Hunter family has been tremendous for the speedway. They will be entering their third year of promotion and have really brought and will continue to bring this track back to life.

Thanks for everyone's interest and support of the Montpelier Motor Speedway. We hope to see you out for one of the midget shows.

I know it's not a deal where you are going to be checking trailers for coolers when people sign in thru the pit gate, but the question I have, is if it got that far, what happens to the people with toter homes that may have refrigerators in them? I don't have a toter by any means, but just curious.
