Hey Dwight! Your signature "............. I'm afraid that they might nail my feet to the floor............" reminds me of a little joke:
Little Johnny hollers, "Mommy, I'm tired of just running around in a circle".
His mother responds, "Shut up, or I will nail the toe of your other shoe to the floor!"

An intresting "fact" from the news article that I'm sure midget fans for the past 3 decades never knew: "used to build sprint race cars in his garage".
I will echo OSSUKS thoughts with a similar phrase I learned a long time ago...Tis better to remain quiet and let them think you are a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Steve I think your information is distorted, I would argue that in fact it was the "clowns" hands that were tied not the other way around as you stated.

Another thing I laughed at in your comment is that fact that I have worked in government since 1988 and if you think his hands were tied at USAC (which they weren't) wait till he starts working for the State of Indiana. I deal with the state on a daily basis and it is the epitome of ones hands being tied.
