Being a HARF member, I only paid $15 for the sprint week show at Terre Haute. I think that the general admission price was $20 while the covered grandstands were $25. I could be wrong, and I am sure someone will correct me. ![]() I understand your point about bringing in a cooler. Lincoln Park, Tri State, Twin Cities, Lawrenceburg, Bloomington, Brownstown, Baer Field, Salem, Eldora, Waynesfield and others allow you to bring a cooler into the facility. Gas City, Kokomo, Winchester and others won't. However, if I want to see a race at any facility, I won't let this stop me. I still pack a cooler and during down time in the program I can always go and get something to eat or drink out of my cooler. My life is too short to worry about these small issues. Get to a short track near you and enjoy. If things continue the way they are right now, we might not have to worry about bringing in a cooler is a big deal. THE PLACE MAY BE BOARDED UP OR WORSE! ![]()

I Know Mike, I make about every race i can. Just saying it helps get me there in the first place.
GC is one I can see the cooler policy especially at special events just due to room and they don't **** you at the concession either. 20oz coke bottles were barely more than any store you go into. I'll be somewhere fri and sat baring weather ![]()

I don't believe it....yes I do. Someone always complaining about something. Someone complaining about support classes at Putnamville and now someone complaining because there is no support class at Terre Haute. None of us probably have a clue what it cost to run a race at Terre Haute (remember its not owned by an individual).
Chuck, If you go to Putnamville on Friday night and then on to Terre Haute Saturday you have all day to eat and drink before the race. Like others said, when there is down time walk to your car and get something to eat or drink. Ever been to a Bengals game where its a minimum of $10 to park, around $58 for a nose bleed section ticket and $7.75 a beer. Just be glad the Action Track is still operating. Heard a rumor last weekend from a friend in Terre Haute that the fairboard is jacking the rent next year. So maybe you won't have to worry if your cooler can go to the race or not.
It's hard enough to make money at THAT at todays rent. |

I didn't say a damn thing bad or good about one or ten classes, Quit reading into stuff. Exact wording was same price or more for One class. Which I did somehow get charged the Grandstand price when I asked for bleachers. I just thought it was what they were charging when she said 25
Excuse me for having a differing opinion, I don't live in California and something tells me their problems out there are far from a cooler issue but massive EPA issues, Curfews, Land values and taxes Yeah, Im thank full to Indiana and having lots of choices, As I am certain the number of choices helps keeps the cost down as well. I mentioned before that I want THAT to survive, If a no cooler policy is what it takes to survive, So be it. I still don't see it helping the track with everyone running to their cars during down time. The allowing cooler policy allows me to buy some popcorn, cheesy burgers or what not, That Id also be running to the car for. Off the soap box and done with the topic. Chuck
