I dont mind waiting to race its hard enough as it is being in the Marine Corps and dealing with the stressful training schedules. The last two race ready cars I bought were bad enough as it is I had to dump hundreds of dollars into them and eventually ran out of money along the way... I just wanna build my own so that I can know the car from the front to back and know what I built. And learn about the car so I can pass on the knowledge.

Just about everything you need to know is accessable thru this link. Our sealed Focus won a heat race Saturday on its 47th night of racing so they are very reliable if taken care of. There are plenty of good used motor packages and cars for sale. Do yourself a favor and buy a proven, running car and enough wheels/tires & spares to get going. This division is intended to teach people to race. Buying an already assemble car will prove to be cheaper than building plus you'll be racing sooner.

Wrong aprouch..become a crew member on a focus team and learn how to do things right ..get to know the racers at the track ,study the different driving techniques ..learn the rules ...and in the process you'll get an idea of the expences to run a midget and the limited returns. If you feel you dumped hundreds of dollars in cars you had before ,,for midgets - add a zero ,maybe 2 zeros to the bill
