I saw Lincoln enforce a time limit on a street stock feature earlier this year, cutting their main event to two laps. So, yeah, I don't think this will be a long night.

Wonder if this show will be rescheduled?
The radar looks clear right now (11:30 A.M.) but the forecast is for 60% chance of rain this afternoon. Hopefully they didn't call it too early.

I hate to see a race canceled. I do appreciate a promoter making the agonizing decision early so that teams do not make long hauls for nothing.
We were heading to Lincoln for Illinois Sprint week and made it as far as Litchfield when the event was canceled. The gully washer that quickly overtook us was quite spectacular. If one could accurately predict the weather, one could rule the world. |
