The Lincoln web site shows 360 wing qualifications & heats, Wild Things, and nonwing practice on 10/7; 360 mains, nonwing qualifications and heats and Pro (Crate) Late Models on 10/8; nonwing mains, 410 qualifications and heats and minisprints on 10/9; and 410 mains, minisprints and modifieds on 10/10. At least that is how I read the various abbreviations they use. Sounds like a lot of racing for four nights.
Their web site is www.lincolnspeedway.org

Just for the record... You can not call it Illinois Sprint WEEK...if half way through the WEEK you add POINT RACES in August , September and October....
I think it is great they are trying to promote non wing sprint races in Illinois because there are some great tracks there. But DO NOT advertise a Illinois Sprint Week with 6 races in 6 nights with a point fund, then halfway through the week add 5 races through out the rest of the summer and into the fall.... JMO |

The official Monster Midwest Series website, still only list the IL Sprint Week dates for the "Series."

Since lincoln and shepps got rained out are they making these races up or just calling them a wash out?

Don Hammer mentioned to me today that making up the rain outs is being discussed. And possibly even doing a multi day show at LaSalle. Problem right now is, after 6-8" of rain, everything is under water. So I guess the unofficial "official word" is, that it's not over. With Midget week going on, and them running sprints on the program, I personally think it should at least be after that is done. But for now none of these tracks appear to be able to run this week. Of course, I could be wrong.

I give a multi-day show at LaSalle a very, very enthusiastic two thumbs up. That would be a great idea. Love the place.
Looking at my calendar, the logical time would be before the $3,000 to win at Lincoln on Sunday, June 27. Unfortunately, that would be in conflict with the 75th anniversary races at Little Belleville on June 25 & 26, but life is about choices. Week after that is MSCS at Tri-State, the two weeks after that Indiana Sprint Week. Anyway, I certainly hope this happens. I would hope that there would be a good turnout with the possibility of three nights of racing with good payouts each night.
