Just made it home. It was a great race tonight glad i went. Its too bad crammer and puterbaugh got tangled up and puterbaugh broke his front end he was really starting to move up. Track ended up being very fast by feature time. LPS looks great. thats the best i have ever seen that place.
Side Note: someone needs to let Joe know that the womens bathroom needs to have a baby changing station in it. The guys has one but the womens needs one too, cause come on how many guys are really going to change their kids at the track. well I know i was but only because the womens had no changing table. Thanks to all who came to LPS tonight for a great race. No rain to speak of after 4:30 or so. Took a while to roll in the track but it was all good. Scott weir busted his azz when some broke in the front end down the backstrech. Saw him afterwards he is sore but said it dropped in the front and took off to the right and over. Good run by Shu, after first red it was discovered that a valve cover gasket was leaking some. Shu had them covered until Shane Hollingsworth worked his way up to him and dove under Shu coming off of two and took it to the checkered flag. Shu tried but couldn't get another shot at Shane. Dickie Gaines a good drive as well. Billy P was 5 or so until Cramer got loose and Billy tagged him taking out the front end.
For a night that looked like should and could of been a rain out HATS OFF to Joe Spiker and his crew for sticking it out, waiting on the radar and the track and paying $2000 for the win. Lots of good reasons to call it for some promoters. Congrats to all. PS Thanks to wife Druzella for typing the update finishes for me. Whooa Racin' !!!! D.O. ![]() |
