Billy Puterbaugh should get a shout. He started in the front row with D.G. They had some great slide jobs for the lead and Billy broke while second.
Track was smooth after they finally found the keys to the water truck as 1st group of hot laps made dust.

Bigger shout out to Chase Briscoe in D.G.'s team car. Chase ran a great race to finish 3rd. Best I have seen him run in a while.

Sprint feature over by 8:15

He'll run some asphalt this year. He's going to run the whole Silver Crown schedule and the Little 500.

Where did Hollingsworth start?

I just started following sprints last year, but have long been a race fan. I started watching him last year and I was impressed. Does he run top equipment and is it his cars? How old is he?

Thanks for answering my questions....I appreciate it!

Thanks for the compliment D.O. I had a great time last night. But just to clarify, this is not a DG Racing team car. My dad bought the frame and body from Damion this winter. It is still owned by my grandpa Richard Briscoe. The only thing different this year is that it's an Eagle Chassis. The unfortunate part is that if we do not find sponsorship we are not going to be able to run a full season. So if anyone has any ideas for sponsorship please let me know.

Wow, at a lot of places, the headline division heats don't even hit the track before 8:15.

8:55 would be more accurate. I had 8:58 when I headed out the gate.

Thanks for moving the show along once it got going!

Shoot, in about another month, would the sun have even set at 8:55 in Indiana?

Joking asside, why can't more tracks do this? Why not keep the neighbors happy by getting the loudest class done early? Why not keep the traveling racers happy by getting them out early? Why not keep the casual fans happy by getting them out of there before the drunks have time to throw back another half-dozen brews, and become beligerent? Why not allow the "junior fans" in the stands to actually see the features before they become semi-comatose in their folks laps?
