R.I.P. Mr. Tom, While we all know the kind of fan Mr. Tom was to all the racers my fondest memory will be of the time he came to watch Taylor (my Daughter) play soccer for a weekend. We were in Dayton and there was Mr. Tom with his chair in the cold cheering like it was 3 wide for the checkered... Thank You Mr. Tom for being our friend not only while we were at the races but away as well. You will be missed !

I don't think there is a driver that met Tom that didn't feel like he was one of their biggest fans. We made the long tow to gas city this year and Tom was there immediately to greet us. He knew how long it had been since he had seen me race and remembered where I had finished that night. I took his word for it.

He was just not a fan of sprint cars but appreciated any of us out there trying our best. He will be missed as he was a true racers friend.

That is truly sad news. I just got to know Tom last year and was really looking forward to see him at the gate again this year. Penny and I are both saddened by the loss. RIP.

My sympathy goes out to Tom's family and friends. I bet he and Dwight and many others are doing some serious bench racing right now. R.I.P.
