My change purse and bill clip are empty from paying all the back gate fees.

Haubstadt allows you to bring in a cooler and whatever food or drink item of your choice. I always thought that if this rule was changed the attendance would go down. I don't know if a cooler fee is the answer but I've found myself sneaking h2o into Kentucky Speedway before and there is something extremely wrong with that imo.
It seems to me that Ky Speedway has been showing a lot of tin on race day this year and I think the cooler is a big player in the attendance issue. |

It is funny how some promoters hide behind that if you sell beer, you can not allow beer carried in. So how do you explain IMS, ORP, THAT, Haubstadt and Salem to name a few. ---------- Post added at 02:26 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02 ![]() Quote:
The problem with this is the local fuzz think I am selling drugs or up to something illegal, because I make several trips to my car. I have been searched once and questioned twice because I go to my auto to often in their mind. On a side note. Why is there so much police presence at The "Burg? With the exception of THAT it is hard to see a law enforcement officer at any other track. Is it because both are at a public fairground? |

Don,
The Police presence may have something to do with available officers and the track has to pay for it. Terre Haute and Lawrenceburg probably have larger Police forces so more are available to work the detail. |

Dyno Don, Here ya go, straight from the Indiana ATC:
Temporary Beer / Wine Permit Type 118 A temporary permit is good for beer and wine only - not liquor. If you want to have liquor served at your event, you must have a licensed alcoholic beverage caterer. A temporary permit is valid for on premises consumption only. "Carry out" and "carry on" is not permitted. Thanks for your concearns. I don't know what kind of liceanse anyone else has, and really don't care. As far as security we have 5 to 6 officers at each event. Thanks, Dave Quote:
