I was thinking the same thing. I checked both THAT and MSCS websites and they still show the race being run on Sunday.

I called another one of the track volunteers, he knows nothing of a postponing past Sunday. Nothing is on the website (THAT), I am still assuming the race is being held on Sunday, until there is an official annoucement, that is what I will go by.

EDIT: Just got the call comfirming it has been postponed by the other track vol. direct from Mike King, might be ran with the SCORA race in June.

The SCORA race on June 13th at Terre Haute (possible make up date for the MSCS race) is also the date for Indiana Midget Week at Lawrenceburg.

I have an email direct from Mike King stating they will not be able to hold the race this weekend due to the heavy rains we have already received and with the forcast of additional heavy rain tonight and tomorrow it will be impossible to have the track or pit parking in any condition to be able to have the show. THAT and MSCS are looking at possible dates to reschedule and plan to make an official announcement tonight or in the morning.

I applaud them for giving everyone advance notice rather than waiting until the last minute to make the decision. It is obvious the fairgrounds will not be in any condition to hold a race this weekend. I am as disappointed as anyone, but appreciate not having my crew, the fans and race teams incur travel expenses to THAT only to be told at the last minute the show has been postponed.
