Okay I agree that the track wasn't good at all to begin the night, however it was one of the best turnarounds in one night that I can remember. Yes it did take quite awhile to re-work the track but IMO the time spent was worth how much better the racing was after that. So as long as the track is better after the re-work who cares how long it takes.

everyone always wants tacky tacky tacky. When it's really tacky it just turns into a one lane follow the leader track. They might look cool going really fast but not much action. It has to halfway dry out some to have good two groove side by side racing.

Reading Don’s post over time, I have concluded that this is his check list:

Dirt tracks that you never have to touch all night. A track should always be prepared and never touched after the first wheel touches the track.

Shows should start at 6 and be finished by 7:30. No reason to mess around. If quals, heats, and mains could be combined into cars being on the track one time, that would be best.

A track should never charge more for concessions than what it costs to break even. There should be no profit made by concession sales. If there is any type of overcharge, then boycott them.

Other than that, everything is run pretty well. Sorry, but that is just how it comes across.
