Driver name recognition is not something USAC has anymore. Yes we have Grant, KTJ, and Leary. We've lost Thorson, Windom, Courtney, Carrick, Abreau and others to wings.

USAC needs the reintegration of pavement racing into all their series, change the Crown cars to the same engines as the Amsoil Sprintcar series or vice versa so costs can be kept down, and get meaningful purses for the series to run for. Springfield pays $10,000 to win. I think they paid that much 20 years ago. Hard to race for purses that don't even try to keep up with the times.

While I am thankful for Flo coverage, TV time is an absolute must. Without eyeballs on your product, you're never going to succeed.
