Since Im not very familiar with ASCS can someone tell me the difference between them and USAC.Is it just motors or what.I know ASCS will run a race or two around Indiana or I think I heard of them running around here but I always hear people on here talking about how good there shows are.I need to do my research and I know this is the place to start. Thanks for any info.

ASCS (in Arizona) is non wing 360's versus USAC's 410's. I saw 3 shows at Manzy this summer, great stuff! :thumb

ASCS runs 360 motors and they do not qualify. Heat races are formed from a pill draw and you are seated into the mains by passing points and finishing position.

For some reason I was under the impression this was a (NEW) ASCS series, 410's, non=wing, 20 or 21 race schedule (as of now), running mainly Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, $250,000 dollar point fund with $100,000 going to the winner.

Does anyone know how much of that ^^^^ is wrong??? Probably EVERYTHING:O:

ASCS national tour runs wings and 360 engines, this is what Hockett is going to run. The only 410 races ASCS sanctions are wingless and called the Sprint Bandits, which run in the KS, NB, plains states usually the week after the Nationals. One of the ASCS regional series runs in the southwest is wingless, but they are also 360's.
