One of the best races I've ever seen was one of the first Gold Crowns. Especially the first 20 something laps, that went yellow-free. I remember during that lull of that yellow, noticing that at some point during that green period, I had had tears running down each side of my face. Now, that's a sign of one of those races that has just put you through the wringer.

Tri-City in Illinois is a VERY nice facility and great track. Will be a really good show

Thought the same thing. Guess they only go west after the Florida swing.

Sorry to say but the Eastern swing ran its course. Declining car counts and no cars or clubs of significance in the East to boost the car count doomed this swing. Good tracks but not enough cars to warrant the time and money.
