I would like to formally submit my entry for the 2009 World Shopping Cart Nationals:checkered:
I procured a very quick cart from the local Target parking lot, we'll just say it was a generous sponsorship deal on their part:O: |

I'd buy Shortbus a new bicycle to ride to THAT....
Motormasher a Wing so he'd shut the h*ll up about how wings are so much better.... and Dave Rudisell a beer for getting back on here day in and day out listening to everyone. By the way nice meeting you behind Ricky Williams trailer when you were in the pace truck Sat. My mom and dad a large RV for coming to all our races this season and cheering us on... Danny Burton stock in notepads for the whole season..and Swordman a Bigger Sword to regulate Racefan20. But honestly.... i'd just by more time to go racing....to see the people I call my friends...work at the track on our car and everything that come's with this sport |

i would buy bloomington speedway and put it back the way it was when it was a bigger track and then put a wall around it i think that would add to some already good racing. it now has the tendency on weekly shows to go to a one groove bottom track and i think that standing on the loud pedal around the top is an exciting thing to watch

Is the 2009 World Shopping Cart Nationals a traditional or winged event? Some east coaster’s want to know if their Cart's will be legal or not.
![]() On a serious note, I’d buy Susquehanna Speedway. First I’d re-clay the track and tear down the front straight stands and put up a new one, and new restroom too. I’d run a two card program of ARDC Midgets and Wingless 358 Sprints and Wingless Super Sportsman switching every other week. I would run on Sunday nights, and all divisions would race for 2k to win. |

I'd buy Bunker Hill, make it a nice facility and run sprints on Saturday nights. That way, the guys up here in the northern half of the state would have Friday (Gas City), Saturday (Bunker Hill) and Sunday (Kokomo) options. Buying and improving Montpelier (or Warsaw or Shadyhill) and bringing the sprints back would accomplish the same thing.
If I bought Kokomo, I'd make the restrooms bigger and add stands in turn four as well as a second set of backstretch bleachers. I'd extend the season into late September/October by running Saturday night/Sunday day shows. I'd also explore the possibility of running midgets on Wednesday nights through the summer while school is out. |

I would purchase Angell Park Speedway and do the following...
1) Annual mandatory vision exams for all officials. :O: 2) Force anyone with more than 500 posts on IOW to spend one day of rock picking while a volunteer firefighter supervised. 3) Pump out the port o let in the infield more than once prior to the Fireman's Nationals. 4) Force Hans to pit in turn four....just once. :rolling

Red Hill Raceway and just open the place again. It is a great facility sitting idle because of a p****ing match between the owner and the county. :headbang

I would buy Gas City.
I would do away with the goofy grandstands they have and put in seats that are way more roomy and comfortable than what they have now. I also would put in a catch fence in 1 & 2 and build grandstands there. They draw great crowds and I am sure the extra seats would be filled for Sprint Week and other special events. |
