You can't cancel everytime you think you might step on someone's toes. You would never have a race.

I haven't always been on farmer city's side this year but this is a pretty smart decision. U guys have to remember that the track doesnt make all there money on the back gate. If you were a fan of nonwing sprintcars, and you had the best of Usac 2 1/2 hours away, would you go there or stay home and watch a normal local show. JMO but I think this was a decent move on promoter side

At least they cancelled the day before the race and gave you other options and time to accomadate on whatever decision. I see nothing wrong with the decision...

So the USAC race then pays $400 to start $4900 to win if you aren't a member, what did this race pay?

Yes, It has been $500 to start $5000 to win ALL season. They made a fairly large announcement at the beginning of the season that that would be the minimum payout...
