I'm not sure that I'll be able to make it, JPM. "The German" is coming to town on Saturday, so I'll probably hang out with him. Maybe I could talk him into going! :O:

If any race fans are in the Decatur County area and need a racing fix, go check them out. Here's the newspaper ad with the info...

Very good, Shawn, if that is the ad in print, there should be good response on the "hill", and in the pit area, now if the weather will co-operate, maybe we can all have a fun day at the other "Burg". Bob

I must say that is kinda misleading concerning past Champions as we were Champions in the UMRA (which I am proud of) and not the Midwest TQ Racing League.

Besides that I wish you guys good luck and hope you have a good turnout. I will be helping my nephew with his sprintcar at North Vernon this Saturday so I can't make it unfortunately.

Jake....wasnt intended on being misleading....my appologize. The question came from a UMRA person, so they new what we were talking about. But someone new to the thread may not. Again my appologize.

Hey Jake maybe they were referring to you as a former Twin Cities Sprint Champion?

Good luck down in Vernon Saturday with Logan. Does he have Brandon Petty's old trailer? While wandering around Columbus Sunday afternoon we drove by and saw it parked along the street. I've seen the trailer pull into the Burg but I don't know who owns it now.

Actually Joss Moffatt owns Brandon's old trailer. Logan bought Scott Hamptons old one.

Twin Cities definitely holds a special place in my heart which is why I don't miss sprintcar races there!

Good to see the names of Hankins, Martz, Willis, Lux, Byrge and Ambrose being mentioned for this show! :thumb

With the show starting at 6 does anyone have any thoughts on how late it will run? A couple of hours?

The plan is to have it finished in 2 or 3 hours. We have a great officiating crew running it. So I have confidence that the show will run smoothly.
