Winner! Darland. Clauson Coonsjr? Kt?. Unsure 3rd 4th. Board says one thing announcer another. I'm heading home. Hopefully a better run down posted soon.

Congrats to Dave Darland on the wire to wire win tonight. Stanbrough running second was making an attempt to run Dave down but biked it on the low side between 1 and 2 nearly flipping it but got it down and dropped back several spots. That left Clauson and Thomas Jr. running 2nd and 3rd as Darland was stretching it out. Then a late race yellow for Cockrum loosing it in 2 and Leary over the back of him set up a show down with Darland, Clauson and Thomas for the last few laps.
On the restart Darland went the high route followed by Clauson up there but Darland got a run off of 2 and pulled away as Clauson settled for second and Coons blasted past Thomas Jr. at the flag. Another good night of racing at Kokomo and great weather! |

It was a good race that would have been an amazing race had DD not been there. The battles behind him were epic, and the battles between Bryan, KTjr and Jon would have been for the lead. Dave just put a spanking on them. Dave came up into the stands before the A and watching him interact with the fans, it is easy to see why he is as popular as he is.

When that last caution came out with 4 to go I thought uh oh here we go, it's about to get down and dirty, on the restart, Dave went high as usual and Clauson low and Dave hit his lines and was off like a rocket outta 2 and never looked back after that. That car was on a rail for sure! Good racing as usual at Kokomo!
