LAST-LAP BLOOMINGTON WIN NETS KUHN NATIONAL & INDIANA MIDGET WEEK LEAD

Bloomington, IN…….Brad Kuhn of Avon, Ind. passed Brad Sweet on the final lap to win Friday night’s 30-lap “Indiana Midget Week” feature at Bloomington Speedway in the Rotondo Weirich Beast/Fontana. Kuhn emerged from the race as the new USAC Mopar National Midget and Indiana Midget Week point leader. Sweet led 27 of the first 29 laps before Kuhn’s last-lap pass. Josh Wise also led two feature laps and finished third, ahead of Tracy Hines and Bryan Clauson. Steve Buckwalter posted a new track qualifying record and was the fastest qualifier for the second straight race.
