My 4 year old Grandson climbs up on top & slides down. The eave is about 2' above the top of the pile & he can lean his elbow on the gutter. Saves driving to the local sledding hill.

What a great story! 2' short of the eave, that's Glad i don't have that much piled up here, the kids would love it but i would end up doing something stupid and hurting myself.
Well it looks as if the "frozen tundra" is in for another round of "crystallized frozen precipitation" the next three days. Sounds like it could be in the 15-18" range when it's all done. 3-4" Monday then another 3-4" Monday night. Tuesday only about 2" during the day but then 5-8" at night. It could be worse cause most winters we normally get North to Northwest winds but this time the wind is from the East which means it's off of Lake Michigan. I'm about 12 miles West of the lake so i don't know if i will get all the lake effect stuff or not. Then the winds pick up and could cause some 5-8' drifts. We did get a couple inches last Thursday so after three days of no snow i guess we are in the line of fire. snow.
