It was 27 below this morning without a windchill and at 1 O'Clock in the afternoon it's still 12 below!! I am going straight home and hibernate! That is after I push the house a few blocks to get it warmed up!!

We got our first real snow of the year. 10 inches of wet heavy snow. Trees down all over our area. Going to have to break out the chain saw again.

Well it looks as if the "frozen tundra" is in for another round of "crystallized frozen precipitation" the next three days. Sounds like it could be in the 15-18" range when it's all done. 3-4" Monday then another 3-4" Monday night. Tuesday only about 2" during the day but then 5-8" at night. It could be worse cause most winters we normally get North to Northwest winds but this time the wind is from the East which means it's off of Lake Michigan. I'm about 12 miles West of the lake so i don't know if i will get all the lake effect stuff or not. Then the winds pick up and could cause some 5-8' drifts. We did get a couple inches last Thursday so after three days of no snow i guess we are in the line of fire.

This Sunday I think their calling for a black (& gold) out, along with a good ol' fashion snow job, for Green Bay and the surrounding area...:2:
