I got video of the flip in turn 2, and a few pictures.....but those will have to wait until after this weekend because I am going out of town tomorrow.

Words can't express my appreciation for DHK Promotions and what they've done for the Action Track. They snatched this great track out of the jaws of death and have almost instantly transformed it back into the place that it used to be. As heart breaking as the track's near demise under the last promoter was, it has been eclipsed by the bright future that resides there, now.

Congrats to DHK...they have done an outstanding job in a short period of time...It was the biggest crowd I have seen there since the early 1990's....the grandstands were 70% full and the infield was nuts, a ton of people.....the track was good and if anyone says any different lets look at this ...Hagen started 20th ran 3rd....Kuhn started on pole, biked it, got together with Ballou....went to work area....restarted 22nd and ran 2nd by a car length....Tough luck for Coons who had a left rear go flat while leading but came back up to 9th.....$10 to get in the infield is a steal and even $15 or $20 for bleachers and grandstands is a good deal.....I would choose THAT over dinner and a movie any night even with an hour and half drive...TONIGHT....THE ACTION TRACK LIVED UP TO ITS NAME :thumb

Great night at THAT. Hockett twisted a cam spud. He was looking good till that. Kuhn did nose into the lead a couple of times but could keep it there. He broke a LF shock early in the race.

I just got in from a great night at Terre Haute. The crowd was huge and the program was very well run. It was good to see the action track is back.

after last Nights Crowd USAC & DHK should find some way to have a SPRINT WEEK Date just Think That Crowd Last night was on a Thursday night if that would have been a weekend date who knows how big it would have been I Think a Sprint week crowd might be twice as big
