good night of racing hadn't watched one from the hill for a while but I was impressed by what happened. Some other guys moved up but he came through the b and passed the best in the business at btown in a big one. Kenny had a perfect car and made no mistakes which is commendable in a 40 lapper

Well folks, from someone that was shooting photos at the race, the even money was on Mr. Stanbrough as the feature rolled off. Jon took off at the green, edging out past Chad Boat and Bryan Clauson. He held the spot for the early stages of the race before Brady Short came forward to challenge the group. Brady, like he has especially of late, rocketed to the front on a track that was like a mirror. I told a few guys there tonight that I've never seen a track so black and "mirrored over" that was still so passable. It looked slick, but guys were working to the front all over the sprint feature. Both Brady Short and Kenny Niflis were patient and worked the lanes where their car worked best. Stanbrough was overtaken near the midpoint after building a good lead early. It was amazing to watch some of the guys, including Niflis and Gaines cruise through the field slowly and steadily, picking the spots. What was great to see for Kenny Niflis was that he had to get by a group of three lapped cars on the two-to-go sign and kept his composure to the checkered flag even though I think all of us would have been thinking 'wow, I could win the "Sheldon Kinser Memorial"! All told, wonderful win for a good kid and a special scene in victory lane! Great race!

First trip to shoot the red clay this season, but I wanted to say a special congrats to the track crews, push trucks, safety crews and officials for keeping everything running so well. Pretty quick night overall, 40 sprints, qualifying, a Cmain, Bmain plus the feature and two other classes and I got home from an hour away, by midnight. Good stuff. Bring on Sprint Week!!

we had five heats, with the top four inverted. Fast qualifier starting fourth in each heat qualifiers 1-5 started fourth, 6-10 started third, 11-15 started second, and 16-20 started pole of the heats. So with Ballou timing in at 19th quick, he got the pole of the fourth heat

Great jop by Kenny and the entire team. There is not a new part on that car anywhere. Everything is used or someone else's thrown away part. Heard that the tires they ran in the feature were from another teams trash pile and Trent was afraid the birdcage bearings were going to fail because they were making so much noise pushing out for the feature. Guess they have a little money to buy some new ones now.

That has to be a great feeling when you beat guys with stuff they threw away or thought was junk.

Great job to all involved with the Niflis team. Thought he would be good in feature if he kept his nose clean. Kid did a he11 of a job passing and was very patient in traffic. Coming from deep in the pack had to make it even sweeter. Was one thing I did'nt enjoy though !! Sure made me feel old beings he was'nt even thought about when Trent lettered our cars years ago :2: Congats guys, and good luck rest of the year

First of all, what a great win for Kenny Niflis. He was worth the price of admission to watch slice and dice his way to the front. I asked this question last week after the KISS round at Paragon when Jon Stanbrough came from the back to win the feature event. How many people think that running the B-Main last night was an advantage for Kenny Niflis?

Running the B is an advantage, but you still gotta earn it, and Kenny did!
