WOW! What a great night of racing tonight at Kokomo. The midget feature was about as good as it can get. Action all over the track and the battle up front was intense to say the least. A great win for Pickens and congratulations to Bryan on another midget week championship. He certainly had to get up on the wheel after starting about mid pack.

Larson showed that he will be a force to deal with. He drove a great race, leading up until the end. A big shout out as well to Reese O'Connor and crew on the track prep. Racing bottom to top and for the sprint feature, the wall came in to playas well. No wonder I love this place.

Mike

Be nice to people on the way up. You might need them on the way down. Jimmy Durante

To answer someone's question above, Pickens failed to get Larson on a couple of slide jobs, but Larson ticked the cushion (i.e., the wall) coming out of 4 just enough that Pickens got a run and slid him going in to one. Then Larson either tried to hard, or maybe a tire was going down, or ???, because he slipped a couple of spots. He only beat BC by 2 spots, which was not enough to overcome BC's lead in the points going in.

Does anyone know why the yellow was thrown with 5 to go? That was a mystery to all of us at the top of turn 1.

Tmez in the 16 either spun out or stopped just coming out of 2 - we were sitting just in front if flag stand and we couldn't see him either until the push truck pushed him to the pits. There was a big tractor or tow blocking the view of him stopped.
