Well the frames are all new and realatively same price(the 10 of aric gentry had to save 3 years to afford it, and memmer has 3 of them that i know of). I know of less than 20g's in thes 10's motor and memmers is around 40g's.

I guess you dont understand what im stating here. I gave jon congrats and he did well. I did not say anything about him not deserving it or otherwise. But for those of you who werent there for the enitre evening*cough aero*, you dont know what was goin on there. And my numbers on the motor price well if you cant figure that out i guess your just foolish. unders 20g's vs over 40g's lol has nothing to do with anything else. All you have to do is go ask Tim Engler how much a top of the motor from him runs you and im sure youll get the same response I did. Open your eyes look at the big picture like me, who was there this wasnt a race it was a man who brought a gun to a knife fight(once again I know he was close to home and takin nothing away from him). I guess some people just dont want to see it that way, and yes I know they opened the rules, continue bashin me I enjoy it!!

Heres some food for thought, Aric Gentry has less than 10 g's in his motor he is currently running. He stops by my house once a week and lives 2 miles south of me. He told me this himself. It is one of Eric Folgers old motors.

[QUOTE=Hamby812;people are seriously giving him props on this win?? He had more money in motor than anyone else did in their entire car and still almost cost himself the race by purposely taking out a lapper, and gettin tangled up with it as it was spining. I give all my props to Aric Gentry in the 10 car!! Not to bad of a race but was super slick and a little dusty, and the scora race later this month is cancelled there![/QUOTE]

After taking out your back handed compliment here is what's left.

PS I knew better then to drive 4 hours down to that race. But if I was an half hour away(like you) I would have went

One of the biggest misconceptions in sprint car racing, is that money can buy you a meaningful victory. It's just not true. This is a case study in that. More than likely, this is why many local hot shoes decided to pass on this one. There was more downside to showing up at a race like this, with top flight equipment and becoming the front runner for Cherry Picker of the Year, than there was upside of actually winning the race. As long as Memmer's people don't try to make too much hay out of this, it just goes into the category of "a win is a win" and hopefully he uses it as a personal stepping stone to improve his level of equipment to results ratio.
