HARF ******** of Officers 2009 meeting

I just want to take a minute to thank all of you who came out Saturday to take part in our meeting, shop tour, and Grand Opening of the new Speed Services location. My biggest Thank You goes out to the Staaps for offering the use of their fine facility to have our ******** in, and those of you who brought items for the door prize drawings or our raffle (the Staaps for the autographed Yeley car, Dave Gansert for the huge Matt Neely photo, Pit Stop Books for the Langhorne book, Gearheads for the TSR diecast, and the Fleetwoods for opening night tickets). The raffle was a huge success, with all monies raised going into our Drivers Benevolent Fund, we had a ton of door prizes (i think almost everyone got a gift bag), a spectacular car show in the parking lot, and a working shop tour extraordinaire led by the Bopper himself (i know the 2 seater got alot of attention also). I hope you all had an opportunity to join us and enjoy a fun day with racin' fans. I also wish to thank all of you involved in the ******** process itself, and Welcome a few new Officers to the group, our newest Vice President John Hoover (along with returning VP D.O. Laycock), and our new membership secretary Jamie Marvel. We have a great group of officers for the club this year and i Know it will just make us stronger in 2009. Once again, THANKS to everyone for helping make Saturday a huge success.
