I am desperately seeking a photo of Danny Milburn from the 1978 Little 500 race.I am restoring a car and he could have driven this car in that race. I'm not sure what Danny may have driven the rest of 1978, if it was this car or not, but if anyone has a photo from the 500 race or anything of Danny from 1978 to compare, I would be grateful.I believe the car would have been black #59. thanks, ron c.

Ron I'm not sure, but I believe Danny bought that car from Hoffman racing. You could ask Dick Hoffman. Weightjacker

Have you tried Milburn garage doors in Indy? I belive that was his business and it still operates under that name. Maybe there is a family member who can help you there. I could be wrong though, try it nothing to lose.

Weightjacker, thanks for the info, Rob Hoffman believed Danny bought it from them but its a long time ago.I now have that chassis and am doing the history end of it right now.A picture of Danny with the car would be a treasure for me.

Ron If there are any pics, Katty Milburn (Danny's mom) should have them. Second hand knowledge says that after Danny's passing there were some problems between Danny's second wife and Danny's parents. Not to sure who ended up with Danny's photo collection, but I hope it was his parents. You need to call Milburn Garage Door (317 783-2120) and ask for Terry, and tell him your story. He has the contact for Katty. If she dosen't have any, ask if Danny's two daughters might have some. Weightjacker
