Looking to get into the ford focus racing can someone tell me were is the best place to start ? I live in IN. We are coming from karts.:usac:

Not to try to be mean or discourage you however unless there is a large effort to save the Fidgets they are not worth investing in
The fidgets car counts and race schedule are incredbly small compaired to what they were 4 years ago
For a little bit more you can get into a full midget and be able to race UMRA, USAC Regional, Indoors, Mt Lawn (hopefully they do that series again) along with attempting any National shows you are interested in

Just a question, for info only, unless you're interested in running mostly pavement, with small car counts, there are other options, that will get the job done, with a smaller investment, mini-sprints, and TQ's come to mind, mostly dirt, and good car counts. Bob

The advice being given here is not surprising as the transition from karts to mini-sprints is a logical step for a youngster and perhaps the best one , too.
It is a shame that the only person who would encourage your going to Focus would be the guy that is still trying to sell his Focus inventory.:wink

31 Focus Midgets were entered at Turkey Night....and the majority of those were from the west coast - had the economy not been so bad there probably would have been quite a few more....
