One thing people need to remember is you can't please everyone and some people will always find a reason to complain. With that being said if you remember back when this series was first started out some said that the car was so unsafe that drivers were refusing to drive them.Well that was a view that was very quickly put to bed and i never ever saw or heard any driver say that they felt unsafe in the cars. So first we are bashed for building a car that is not safe and now we get bashed for building a car that is to safe. Well i drive one and as for me i will take all the safe I can get. Call me chicken or what ever you want but just don't call me late for dinner. Of the ones who bash the safety side of these cars how many have run off into a corner at 200 mph with 5 other cars that you could throw a blanket over. If you have you have a voice that should be herd. Bruce has a TON of experience and has a lot of input from drivers, engineers, builders etc. If he says it needs to be done then it is going to be done on my car. I am not interested in visiting any of my friends in the hospital just because people wanted the cars to look more traditional. Mac Miller builds some very nice traditional cars but how many drivers are DEAD from driving the traditional big cars. Some cars belong in museums or parades not on race tracks. As for being arrogant I would say that you have not met Mr.Ashmore. Mac Miller has some good ideas I would like to see some of them brought up to the owners advisory group to see how or if they could be done mainly longer races.

I may be a new poster but my guess from what I have read on this subject Mac Miller is either a mortician looking for business or is in the casket selling business.

Actually, Mr. shoaf', You probably should spend a little more time developing a body of interesting, informative and credible postings here before you just start spouting crap about people you know nothing about........

Well Mac fill me in on who you are then I will be more informed. IF I read your post as you have written them I still come to the conclusion that you enjoy watching 60s era cars race witch lead to a lot of drivers being killed maimed or really messed up for life. If this is what you consider traditional than your tradition will soon be gone. Unless you are a mortician,or are in the casket selling business. I personally enjoy watching all forms of racing and consider it very entertaining until someone gets severely hurt then I think of what the family must be going through and how hard it must be. So from this fans view race hard and build the cars as safe as you can. A.Shoaff
