Not to be negative but I suspect we will see more events (racing and others) cancelled this year unless the economy straightens up.

As for Mansfield, it is a really nice facility. THe owners (and there have been a few) spent a lot of money but I found the place poorly run.

I agree, it is a great facility. Didn't they just complete the drag strip not long ago? Hopefully it will be a short term situation (one year) and then they can be back in business.

I also think that you are correct that other events will be cancelled due to the poor economic conditions. The only surprise here is that they have had great attendance for the NASCAR Truck Series and to let that date get away kind of shocks me.
