To bad It won't keep illegals from driving. Iv'e heard several people involved in accidents with illegals, no license, no insurance and the cop just let them go.

I wasn't commenting on the law or the punishment, just POCF's statement (tied in with "we") that law-abiding drivers needn't worry about cameras at intersections, etc.

Hell no it shouldn't be legal to speed or to run red lights. That's ridiculous. I never run red lights/stop signs and I practically never speed, because there's literally no advantage to doing so. But I sure have had my head up my ass a time or two and sped when I didn't mean to, or realized a light was red and not been able to stop in time.

Guess I'm "only out for myself" though.

I just had my license renewed and they never said anything about not smiling, but here in Wisconsin we are suppose to say "cheese" when our photo is taken so i guess it's allright. :kookoo

OK, driving since '58. 2 speeding tickets and 1 stop sign violation. But nobody heard me whine about cameras being used to help issue traffic tickets. If ya do the "crime" ya gotta do the "time". I paid all three tickets without pizzing and moaning 'cause I deserved all three. Heck, I might even get another if camera usage spreads before I'm done terrorizing the highways. :wink
