I could be wrong, but I think that PHOTO20 is telling us that Smoke is going to be at the 2009 Chili Bowl after all. I would guess that since PHOTO20 is affiliated with Indy Screen Print, maybe they have some inside information. Possibly whipping up a shirt design. I do know that I.S.P. has done Smoke's Chili Bowl shirts for a few years now...

I'm well known around these parts for being wrong about pretty much everything. It's my only claim to fame. So if I'm wrong about this, it is certainly no surprise and it furthers my reputation.

I remember the thread that you mentioned. I also went to look at it again, which goes totally against him racing at the Chili Bowl. Spridge mentioned that it was an Office Depot commitment, not testing that's the issue.

So, I guess we'll both find out when PHOTO20 responds! :thumb

Why would Office Depot care? They didn't care when Carl Edwards went and ran Silver Crown or dirt modifieds and late models. And why is he being advertise to run at Fort Wayne if Office Depot has a disclaimer? And since when did Smoke start letting someone tell him what to do?

I think its like a sponsor commitment (like a photo shoot, commercial shoot, or something in that area) I dont think he cant do it b/c office depot said so, I think he just has a commitment

When they started paying him eight figures to race in the Sprint Cup Series and not the Chili Bowl.
