I recently payed the 4.00 dollars to add the Sirius Nascar Channel 128 to my
exisiting XM Radio subsription.

XM Radio already had PWR SHIFT Station 144 which logs shows on Grand Prix/
Formula 1 Racing, Grand American, Indy/Andretti Green Racing and Nascar with the
Clair B. Lang 3 hour daily shows as well as the Earnhard Jr and Michael
Waltrip 1/2 hour weekly shows and NHRA drag racing shows. That's more information than a typical "wantabe" racer would want to know. But very interesting and informative.

Well, now I get the 24 hours/day, seven days a week Channel 128 showing Nascar Racing and live racing telecasts as well 2 hours shows with Tony Stewarts and others. Last night was my first night listening to the telecast. It took them about 2 hours to get me hooked up and my new channel goin', from the time I handed over my credit card...lol! The little XM radio started flashing a whole
new page and row of lights as they changed the format of my radio as you
payed more for the subscripion. What a racket, but amusing to say the least..lol!

1) Tony Stewart is boring as hell, but the shows are funny, humerous and
entertaining. Everything you didn't want to know about Tony from they
are trying to get "Tony a Date" promotion, all the teams he races for...like
Harvic racing, all the practical jokes like phone in's from Ron Hornaday Jr, etc.

2) Like I say Tony is boring as hell, but the shows are funny and informative.

I was surprized I could turn it on at 2:00 AM in the moring and they are still
talking about something in Racing/Nascar from his teams, sprint cup racing
to his garage full of Orange cars. Turn it back on at 6:00 AM they are still goin'
at it.

If you like racing gossip, these channels sure give you so much "Poop",.... it down right over loading. Way to much information but it's fun.

I enjoy it.

Sincerely,

When I bought my Sirius radio the person at best buy told me that when the merger went through I would get both Sirius and XM on my one reciever. Then when I called Sirius to activate my radio with a "lifetime subscribtion" the person on the phone at Sirius told me that when the merger went through that I would get both SIRIUS and XM on my radio. WELL GUESS WHAT??? Now they say you have to pay extra to get the XM side. Did anybody else get the same song and dance or I am I the only one....I listen to my Sirius though all day and I do really like it..

Your first problem was dealing with Best Buy.

Secondly, he did a poor job of informing you but technically he's right. Your receiver is set up to take both Sirius and XM's signals but you still have to pay for both services.

I bought a new Ford Fusion in June, and it came with all the latest toys, including the Sirius radio package. It's different, and I did renew it for a year. I don't spend much time in the car, wish I had time, cause it is a pleasure to drive, and the fuel milage is great, I got the V6, with the 6 speed auto, and it's doing better than the rating, I'm getting 34 on the hiway, at 70+, and 20+ in town, and that's figured on paper, not by the onboard confuser. The heated leather seats, and the Sync, tilt, telescope are neat, hadn't really considered a Fusion, actually was looking at a Taurus, but they are a full size car now, and the Fusion took that niche, seats 5 comfortably, has a huge trunk, and handles super. I figured I'd try the Sirius another year, then after I signed up, I saw they're bleedin, like so many other companys. Who knows! Bob
