Any recollections on that Chris? Anyone??? I still have an excellent memory.......it just doesn't last nearly as long as it did when I was younger.
I know what you mean about the memory not hanging in there like it used to, but I think that Peddie did drive Miss Madison at some point.

This is Felicia Nunn, Ira drove a sprint car from 1967 to 1969 for awhile I believe the picture I have is of the F100. I dont have my notes here at work but it was for a two year period. Took a nasty flip in Alabama I know and yes his head did stick out quite a bit. I do have the name of who he drove for but once again it is at home.

Actually Chris, my records show that he did indeed run your car at least one time. On 8/19/67 Ira Bastin qualified the Smith #19 at 15.55. Frankie Mack had quick time that night in #44 with a 14.86. Ira started on the pole and ran 6th in the 2nd heat. I don't have the complete feature finish but he didn't run in the top 5. Speaking of the Bastin bunch, Ezra Bastin drove a #35 that night but missed the feature. I also have a Dave Bastin competing on 4/27/68 in #36 running 7th in his heat and scratching in the consy. :checkered:

Dave Bastin passed in 1980 younger brother to Ezra and Older than Ira.
