I like the way they make Perris a National race then cut the purse makes total buisness sense. NOT... Past oval nationals paid 30,000 to win. Now 12,500 because they only had 45 cars pre register. Nice way to go and the promotor says there not in it for the money who are they trying to kid.

Not only does first place pay less but the purse is less money all the way through Saturdays main event field, last year it paid $500.00 to start this year is only $400.00 to start.I'll bet money that the price of pit passes isn't going to go down from $40.00 last year to $30.00 this year though.
A question I asked on SCRAFAN was, since this is a USAC National and USAC/CRA points race why don't they honor our USAC membership cards and give us the same discount that we recieve all season long on pit passes instead of charging a flat rate for everybody just for this race?

And I think that the Hoffman's can run with the big dogs, seeing how they are leading the National Points and won one of the events that we are talking about just last year. From last place no less. And how can it be that I am part of the problem? Being part of the problem would be someone who blindly says to car owners that they can "get rich" by winning both races, that they have "no problem" with money when they say they do, all the while admitting that no one can "make money" owning a race car, that "tracks are closing next year", that there will be "a lot less fans" in 2009, that teams should "just not go", and should "stay on the porch" because they aren't "the big dogs". All these sentiments in quotations are yours, and the rationale (or lack thereof) behind these disjointed crackpot theories of yours is all over the map. I mean, if people listened to you, no teams should go, no fans will be going, and tracks will be closing left and right next year. The sport is doomed according to Superduke. Or, "Chicken Little" as we now should call you. Furthermore, I have an intellect that clearly far exceeds yours both in terms of aptitude, and communicable application and execution, and for you to actually presume that you are somehow winning this alleged "battle of wits" you think you started is not only beyond laughable, but simply makes you look like a crazy old man who has obviously lost all of his faculties. Enough said. DM |

Nice to see Super Dud’s stellar attitude about everything has returned. It sure must be sad to hate everything in life.
I also love when the, when I drove card, is played by somebody that wasn’t any good. I will say at least that is comical. Somebody can hit eject on the Super Dud broken record at any point. |
